Coming in 2025: "Tradition in Custody: Preserving Your Local TLM Community"

In the three-plus years since Traditiones Custodes was implemented, Traditional Latin Mass communities have been struggling in an increasingly hostile environment.  In far too many cases, faithful Catholics who love the Mass of the Ages have been ejected from their parishes and forced to fend for themselves.  The recent events in the diocese of Tyler Texas are a stark reminder that the TLM community remains the target of those seeking to obliterate this ancient and venerable form of worship.  But over these past three years, we’ve seen great signs of encouragement as well, as well as more than a few success stories!

The Challenge:  What actions can Traditional Catholics undertake to maintain their TLM community if they are compelled to leave their parishes?  How can our TLM endure and even flourish in such situations?  What choices are available to us?  How can we get ready?

What We’re Offering:  The “Tradition in Custody – Preserving Your Local TLM Community” webinar will be the first in a series of free online webinars allowing laity to connect with subject matter experts—and each other—to share stories of how to cope with being “sent to the peripheries” as well as some options and practical steps which can be taken in the event your community is suddenly faced with unwelcome news.

When and Where??  We're still putting together the details (guest speakers and that sort of thing), and we're hoping to present the first webinar in mid-to-late spring. We'll be providing more details as we move forward.

Interested in Participating?  We’re looking for presenters who can speak (via webcam) to a variety of subjects presenting Traditional Catholics with options and alternatives if they ever get "that letter" from the chancery office. Contact us if you'd be interested in making a presentation.

Interested in Attending?  Contact us via email at TLM-Friends@Proton.me , visit our website (TLM-Friends.org) or follow us on Twitter/X (@FriendsTLM).  We’ll make sure you stay up to date on conference details as our planning progresses.

With apologies to Maria Iniguez, here is a belated entry which (if we had been clever, or at least alert), we should have posted days...
