News (Good News, that is!)

Let’s start out with some good news! On May 6th, a large group of our friends from the TLM community at Pala were able to receive First Communion at St. Anne’s Church in San Diego. (Read about it here!) An alert reader of our newsletter (thanks, Petra!) provided us with some additional photos from that happy event.

A happy threesome after their First Communion!

Good times and good eats in St. Anne’s parish hall following Mass!

Coming This Fall: A Gathering of Traddies!

Imagine an event that brings together all of the Traditionally-inclined Catholics in one place. Yes, yes, of course you’re thinking of some grand event like the Catholic Identity Conference, or the annual Pilgrimage to Chartes. Well, perhaps nothing near that grand, but how about something a little more, shall we say…local?

That’s the idea behind TRADSTOCK 2023! Yes, that’s right: a festive festival where Traditional Catholic families can gather for food, fun, and frolic in a nice picnicky sort of setting.

It’s coming. All we have to do is figure out when it will be, where it will be, what we’ll eat, what kinds of games, activities, vendors, and special guests we’ll have. Details…details…

Right now we’re guessing maybe in the Fall. We have to figure a bunch of stuff out first. But in the meantime, save the date! (Since we don’t actually know the date, simply block out every Saturday between now and Thanksgiving, and you’ll have it covered.)

More details as they emerge!
